What is Edcamp?
Edcamps are based on a model called an "unconference' that began in Philadelphia. Here are the three ideas behind the edcamp model:
  • people who share the commonality of "education" gather, share and learn in an open and inviting environment
  • the only framework is available space and time slots
  • discussions, demonstrations and interactions of participants become the sessions at the event
